Today while searching the internet, I came across a very interesting website. This site titled baseball player salaries, extensively looks at player salaries from how much they make a minute to how much they make per home run they hit. One example is the highest paid player in the league Alex Rodriguez. A- Rod makes about $55.18 per minute and about $79,452 per day. One stat that is even crazier is that it would take a person on unemployment 1,903 years to make what he earns in one year. This is a problem how crazy some of these players get paid. Does a change need to be made?

I really found it staggering how much money A-rod can make in one day compared to somebody on unemployment. I agree that it is alittle crazy how much athletes can get paid for playing a sport.
ReplyDeleteI think it would matter where the money went if their salaries were reduced. Would the team/owners keep it all, or would it be donated? I think that choice is up to the teams, but with that much money, a lot of good can be done through charities.
